Railroaded

It goes without saying that railroads hold a certain mystique for many of us. Whether it’s the lure of experiencing travel the way many of our ancestors may have moved around their countries, or the excitement at the power of a locomotive to pull so many cars, when we aren’t getting stuck waiting at a crossing, we all love trains at least a little bit. Railroads have helped shape the landscape of many countries.

In the United States, railroads are synonymous with names like Vanderbilt, Rockefeller, and Morgan. The state of Florida where I reside was greatly influenced by the railroads of Henry Flagler. I hope to capture some of that railroad magic through the images in this project.
